What a day!
210km through the desert with only one store (on which we couldn't rely because the hours weren't clear) and an abandoned motel. No farm houses, no campgrounds, no nothing.
spectacular scenery though! I'm not gonna try to find words for it, I'd fail anyway. Didn't know where to look at, some views were just overwhelming. These massive canyons, valleys, rock piles, buttes leave no doubt about how small you are and how powerful nature is, having created that in the course of millions of years.
I'd love to share with you what I experienced today, but like always the pictures aren't even close to the real experience. Maybe the videos get closer, gonna add a link later.
A great gift being able to do what I did today, s' gonna take some time to truly digest all that.
